Leader - Marketing & Communication
After visiting Paonia just once, Davina knew it was a place she could (finally) call home. She loves the forward-thinking, creative, entrepreneurial vibe mixed with the rich Native American, farming and mining history of the town. Being part of TEDx Paonia was a natural fit, and her role as and Marketing & Communication Leader has allowed her to explore new territory professionally—a challenge she’s enjoying immensely.
Davina is a freelance writer, multimedia journalist and digital nomad. She specializes in travel, food and environmental reporting with a focus on wine and sustainable agriculture.
Leader - Sponsorships and Budgets
Ever since listening to her first TED Radio Hour, Julia has been inspired by the creativity and innovation that TED and TEDx events foster. Now, as the Sponsorships and Budget Leader, she is eager to create a platform from which Paonia’s creators, thinkers, and dreamers can launch own their imaginings, creations, and discoveries into the world and reveal the bubbling thought hub that drives this small community.
With experience organizing people and events throughout the West, Julia now manages projects and events at the Western Slope Conservation Center. From trail building at the Paonia River Park to field trips galore, she loves creating connections between people and place.
